Our Consultation Process

1. Initial Contact

Our team will book you in for a consultation and provide all the details you need to prepare for your visit.

2. Clinical Assessment

During your consultation, we’ll carry out a detailed periodontal or implant evaluation. This may include :

1

Reviewing your medical and dental history

2

Measuring gum health or bone levels

3

Taking digital imaging if required

4

Discussing symptoms, concerns, and goals

3. Personalised Treatment Plan

After the assessment, we’ll walk you through your diagnosis and present your options clearly. You’ll receive a detailed treatment plan — including timing, expected outcomes, and cost — so you can make an informed decision with confidence.

4. Ongoing Communication

If you were referred, we ensure your general dentist is kept informed of your diagnosis and progress at every stage.

Referral Information

As a specialist periodontist, most of our patients are referred by their general dentist or healthcare provider. However, a referral is not essential — you are welcome to contact us directly if you believe you may benefit from specialist care or would like a second opinion.

If you’ve been referred, your dentist may send supporting documents such as :

Referral letters

X-rays or scans

Treatment history or clinical notes

We also accept digital uploads via our Referring Dentists page if your provider prefers to submit information online.

Payment Options & Insurance

As a specialist practice, fees for treatment may differ from general dental care. We’ll provide full transparency around costs before any treatment begins.

We accept :

Please note :  Specialist services may attract different rebates from health funds. We recommend checking with your provider to understand your level of cover.
